A study in balance, texture, and luminous motion.

Inspired by childhood memories of folding paper cranes, this sculpture transforms a delicate origami form into modern architectural glass. The silhouette becomes structured, precise, and light filled, while retaining quiet emotional presence.

Three dichroic cranes hang in balanced harmony for gentle, continuous movement. Each is individually measured, cut, wrapped in copper foil, and joined with lead free solder using the traditional Tiffany style technique. The soldering is refined, reinforcing structure and elegance without overpowering the geometry.

Textured dichroic glass bodies and prism wings create layered refraction and shifting color. As light passes through beveled surfaces, prismatic reflections animate the surrounding space, creating a kinetic interplay of material, light, and air.

This mobile bridges tradition and modern design, translating the memory of paper origami into disciplined geometry and living light.
