A luminous skyline silhouette where architecture and light meet through dichroic glass.

Transform your space with this one of a kind handcrafted stained glass panel. Designed to interact with natural light, the composition forms an architectural silhouette built from geometric stained glass and luminous dichroic elements that shift color throughout the day.

Mounted against a clear glass backing, the panel floats within its shadow box frame like a suspended sculpture. As sunlight moves across the surface, the dichroic glass reveals changing reflections, creating a quiet spectrum of color, depth, and movement.

  • Light and Reflection

Dichroic glass is known for its remarkable color shifting properties. Depending on the angle of light and the viewer’s perspective, the surface reveals unexpected tones that transform throughout the day. Reflective elements within the skyline create subtle movement of color as natural or interior light interacts with the glass.

  • Form and Composition

The skyline is expressed as a simplified architectural silhouette where strong geometric forms establish rhythm and structure. Opaque white glass suggests the quiet surface of the river, while transparent dichroic elements rise above it to form the cityscape. The contrast between solid white and luminous reflective glass creates a balanced composition where structure, light, and shadow interact.

  • Light and Color Study

This piece explores the relationship between transparency, reflection, and texture. Clear dichroic glass with varied thickness and surface textures is arranged against the white river to create depth and shifting optical effects. Within the shadow box frame, the layered glass surfaces interact with the clear backing, allowing light to pass through and around the composition while maintaining a harmonious architectural balance.

  • Experience

Rather than behaving as a flat decorative panel, this piece functions as a light sculpture. As daylight changes, the reflective skyline and quiet white river respond differently to illumination, creating evolving color and subtle shadow within the frame. Displayed in a bright window or on an interior wall, the panel becomes a calm focal point defined by geometry and light.
