A contemporary study of sacred geometry in light.
Rooted in the art history of the rosette from Gothic cathedral windows to Renaissance ornament, this sculpture reinterprets the classical circular motif through a modern architectural lens. Where traditional rosettes were integrated into stained glass tracery, this piece stands independently as a distilled sculptural form defined by geometry, proportion, and light.
Each panel is precisely measured, cut, wrapped in copper foil, and joined with lead free solder. The craftsmanship is disciplined and restrained, allowing the geometry to remain clear and uncompromised. Solder lines are refined and controlled to support the structure without overpowering it.
Space is an essential element of this rosette. The openness within the form creates rhythm and visual breath. It is intentional nothingness that gives meaning to the glass and allows light to move freely through the composition.
Dichroic beveled glass transforms sunlight into shifting color, moving from subtle reflection to prismatic brilliance. The result is both historical and contemporary, a meditation on symmetry translated into modern glass.

- Experience
Light continuously reshapes the sculpture. Morning produces quiet tonal shifts. Direct daylight ignites saturated color. Evening softens the geometry into silhouette.
This rosette is a precise study of sacred form and intentional space, reimagined as a modern glass sculpture.
