Dichroic Glass Star Plant Stakes – Set of Three
Introduce shifting color and light to your indoor plants with this set of three dichroic glass star plant stakes, designed and created by Glass on Hudson. Each sculptural glass element is mounted on a slender stake, allowing the stars to rise gently above the foliage where they catch and reflect light throughout the day.
- Light and Color
Crafted with beveled stained glass and luminous dichroic surfaces, each star responds dynamically to its surroundings. As light moves across the glass, the colors shift between reflection and transmission, creating small prismatic reflections among the leaves of your plants.
- Form and Placement
The simple geometric star form provides a quiet sculptural presence within a planter. Positioned among greenery, the glass introduces contrast between natural textures and luminous color, bringing subtle movement and brightness to interior spaces.
- Experience
Dichroic glass reveals its character through changing light. Depending on viewing angle and surrounding illumination, the surface shifts between reflected and transmitted color. In daylight the glass appears luminous and vibrant. Under indoor or evening light the tones deepen and transform, creating a continually changing visual experience.
- Dichroic Color Set
This set includes three color shifting stars:
- Blue reflecting orange
- Amber reflecting blue
- Magenta reflecting green
Each piece interacts uniquely with light, creating different reflections depending on viewing angle and illumination.
